This stage is important as well because it is important to know who is representing who in each real estate transaction. If you are the buyer, you want your OWN realtor representing you and not the seller. How do I know who the seller's realtor is? It is the real estate agent's name that is displayed on the real estate sign in the front yard of the property you are looking at!
This is the most EXCITING stage but can be very stressful for most buyers! Once you find the "ONE' you will work with your realtor to place an offer on the property. Once the sellers accept or negotiate your offer then you will want to place a deposit on the home which is called the Earnest Money. Then you will choose your home inspector and get the home inspected. Next your lender will order the Appraisal to insure you don't over borrow on the home. Then your lender and realtor will work hand in hand to get you to closing so you can move in and take possession of the home! Don't forget to schedule your final walk thru right before closing to insure the home is in the same or better condition than it was when you agreed to purchase it!
